The story
INNER LINE TELESCOPIC FISHING ROD PROVIDED WITH INNERGUIDES
A family story
The story of the telescopic fishing-rod, equiped with an inside line and cross pieces, began with a family plan including the transfer of an invention and its know how, between a father and his son.
During the 90’s, Jacques Dupuy invented a clever guide line mechanism to improve the sliding of the line through the telescopic fishing-rod. For lack of an industrial brand agreement and personnal funds, the invention fell into oblivion.
During the summer 2015, the project revived during a familial lunch. The marketing, the analysis of the existing rival products, the necessary improvement of the original mechanism, led to the revival of the invention. The new means of development and the Internet arrival were the last arguments to bring the innovation to light.
Each person involved showed perseverance and self sacrifice in order to really improve the innovation for a fullfilled use. The first prototype dedicated to the trout fishing was submited to Jacques Dupuy two weeks before he died.
Following search of development led to a second prototype dedicated to the casting with lure. The patents were registered and the commercial communication drafted for these new directions for use.
