Story

Inner line Telescopic fishing rod equipped with inner guides.

A family story

The story of the telescopic rod with inner line and inner rings began with a family project and the transmission of a unique invention and know-how between father and son.

In the 90’s, Jacques DUPUY created an ingenious line guide mechanism to transport and optimize the sliding of the line in the telescopic rod. Due to a lack of brand agreements and personal resources, the invention fell into oblivion. All that remained was proof of function and concept.

In the summer of 2017, the project was resurrected during a family gathering. The reawakening of the innovation happened after the evaluation of the market, the analysis of existing equipment, and the essential improvements and adaptations to be made to the original mechanism. The emergence of the Internet and new means of development provided the final push to unearth the project.

The perseverance and self-sacrifice of each protagonist enabled us to complete the entire operation and significantly improve the concept, to present the first pre-production prototype dedicated to trout fishing to Jacques DUPUY, 15 days before his death.
