Le projet Mosquetari de Canne à pêche à fil intérieur est une innovation tellement unique qu’aucune marque n’a réussi à développer un tel système pratique et fiable.
Vous avez des questions, nous avons peut être déjà les réponses.
The English term “Crowdfunding” refers to “participatory financing,” enabling individuals to economically and financially support the development of a project and participate in the launch of an activity or product. This practice is primarily carried out through platforms that secure the various funds collected, whether in the form of donations, loans, or investments involving equity in the company. We have chosen the option of donation, with or without rewards.
We could have introduced this innovation through traditional distribution channels. However, we want to share this journey and involve all fishermen and others who connect with this human adventure. Each investor will have the privilege of actively contributing to the development and market launch of this fishing concept and will play a role in testing this unique and unconventional innovation. This crowdfunding campaign will also validate the appeal of this innovative mechanism in a market saturated with mature products.
The goal is to raise the necessary capital to allow MOSQUETARI the opportunity to offer an exclusive, early-release fishing rod. The funds collected will also help finance part of future production series for the market.
If you choose the donation option of a fishing rod, you’ll receive a model equipped with either a casting reel seat or a spinning reel seat, according to your preference.
Each model will help fund essential components, including injection molds, the rod blank, additional features (handle, reel seat), complementary accessories (protective tube, line guide), and part of the shipping cost.
Donors will be actively contributing to the launch of this unique and innovative fishing rod.
By investing an additional amount equal to the sum of to the donation, you will receive as many rods as you want.
Advantages: Crowdfunding provides security for donations, as funds collected are held in the platform’s bank account (in this case, Kickstarter) and are only utilized if the total goal is achieved.
Limitations: Donors opting to receive one or more models will only receive their products once the injection molds are completed. Below is the production schedule and delivery timeline.
This crowdfunding campaign will enable Mosquetari to prepare and optimize future rod models, laying the groundwork for upcoming production series and refining logistics.
Once the crowdfunding goal is met, we will begin model production:
We aim to begin shipping all products starting from the fourth month after the crowdfunding launch date. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a definitive date. We will keep everyone updated on progress regularly via email and our Instagram account.
Packages will be shipped from France, with shipping costs included in the donation amount. However, for countries outside the EU and US, an additional shipping fee may be required. This extra amount will be specified based on the destination during registration.
Please note that the donation-for-product option may be subject to additional taxes depending on the destination continent and country. It is your responsibility to verify any potential customs fees or additional taxes with your local tax and customs authorities.
The invention allows inner guides to be integrated into a telescopic fishing rod without obstructing its folding or unfolding. Until now, only rods with sectional assembly received inner guides (outer guides or rings) for inner line transport. This mechanism enables a compact piece of equipment to combine the many advantages of existing rods:
Guides (also known as spacers or inner guides) are essential for ensuring smooth line glide within the rod and guiding the line to the center. These spacers enhance the quality of line movement by:
The Mosquetari system consists of one or more sets of conical inner guides nested into each other, and secured to one or many rods’ section(s).
Complementary parts are adding up to the complete system.
Mosquetari mechanism is completely and easily removable and replaceable in a few minutes.
Our telescopic inner-line rods incorporate features already used in current rods, such as the line entry point at the rod butt and the tulip guide installed at the tips rod. Inner rings are secured within the rod tip, and a line thread is used to insert the line into the rod (see Question 15).
This mechanism requires precise rod blank dimensions to accommodate it, making it impossible to insert the Mosquetari mechanism into telescopic rods that are not specifically designed for it.
He inner-line telescopic fishing rod equipped with inner guides can be adapted to various rod types (surfcasting rods, float rods, casting rods, carp rods, etc.) in different sizes and actions. It’s important to distinguish the Mosquetari mechanism from the durability and action of the rod blank material (carbon, fiberglass, etc.).
A line thread is a small-diameter spring (at least 20 centimeters long and 1.3mm in diameter) that weighs just a few grams. The fishing line is secured in a loop (also called an eyelet) at the end of the line thread.
Caution: Handle the line thread carefully to avoid bending or deforming it.
The line feeder is essential for quick and easy insertion of the line into the rod.
Note: Without the line thread, insertion would be much more difficult.
The Mosquetari concept has been designed to accommodate various types of line feeders. However, we recommend using spring-type line thread with a maximum diameter of 1.3 mm, which we used in developing this innovation.
Line threads can be acquired from your fishing shop or from various fishing websites.
Mosquetari will offer line threads through its various distribution networks.
The tip of each Mosquetari rod is equipped with fixed rings (inner guides or spacers). This precise arrangement has been expertly handled by PSM “Pêche sur mesure,” a specialist in inner-line rod assemblies.
Disassembling the spacers in the rod tip requires specific skills and assembly expertise, as well as specialized tools. Therefore, it is recommended not to attempt disassembly yourself, as this may void the warranty provided by the French company PSM “Pêche sur mesure.”
The inner guides are helping to guide the line into the center of the blank; thanks to the counterweight of the lure, the line will not be in contact with the walls of the rod.
The inner guides are made of resin, a highly durable and smooth material. This minimizes contact, preventing any damage to the line. Additionally, the weight of a lure does not exert enough force to wear down the inner guides.
The line is guided by spacers through the center of the rod blank in a straight line, ensuring that the tension from the lure does not damage the inner guides.
Two parts of the rod experience higher friction: the entrance guide and top peace located at the entry and exit points of the rod. However, these two components are made of porcelain, which is highly resistant to line abrasion.
As a reminder, if an issue arises with a Mosquetari component, the user can easily and quickly replace any damaged part.
The top peace positioned at the entry and exit of the tips rod measures approximately 1.6mm in diameter and prevents dirt from entering the rod.
The rod sections and the innovative mechanism are fully detachable, allowing for easy cleaning, preferably with fresh water, after each fishing session. It is also recommended, though not mandatory, to air out the rod after use to remove any accumulated moisture.
Line fluorocarbon and braid line can be used with this rod. Braid lines pose no issues; however, it’s recommended to use high-quality fluorocarbon line, as worn or kinked lines can complicate insertion. In such cases, the line thread may not be heavy enough to properly guide the line through the rod.
If you use a fishing leader line, the quality of the connection knot will be crucial for smooth passage through the rod tip. A small-diameter knot will enter the rod more easily, and its light weight will allow it to move smoothly through the inner guides within the rod.
While line insertion requires the use of a line thread, folding and unfolding the rod, and dismantling the Mosquetari mechanism, require a specific methodology that can be easily assimilated.
The line thread facilitates and accelerates the insertion of the line, it will pull the line into the rod by gravity through all the inner guides (spacers) and fishing rod.
This manipulation is simple and after several manipulations, it’s carried out very quickly.
If you’re using braid line, simply pass it through the loop (without tying a knot) and leave about 20 centimeters of line extending out. For thicker fluorocarbon (up to 30/100), leave 2 to 3 centimeters of line extending out and pinch it at the eyelet to reduce its angle, making it easier to pass through the guides.
The Mosquetari concept has been designed to prevent the line feeder from getting stuck inside the rod. It’s essential to check the condition of the line feeder before insertion, ensuring it remains straight and that the eyelet is aligned with the feeder’s axis.
If the line thread does get stuck in the rod tip, simply shake the rod tip gently to free it.
This system requires a new method of use, with a specific sequence for folding and deploying the rod. It is essential to keep the lure attached when performing these maneuvers. Although these actions are simple, they become very quick after a few repetitions.
Each donor receiving a model will find a detailed instruction manual included. Additionally, 3D tutorials and videos will be available before delivery.
No need to worry. If, for any reason, the line becomes stuck in the mechanism, there’s no need to disassemble the entire rod. Simply follow this method: open the reel’s “pickup” to increase the line length, then unscrew the rod butt cap to access the rod sections. Remove the sections to reach the mechanism, and then disassemble it according to the instructions provided below.
To dismantle the system, it’s strongly recommended to follow the methodology to bel soon presented by animated 3D tutorials and an explanatory notice.
The risk of tangled fishing line within the rod due to the mechanism itself is zero. The line remains under constant tension from the lure’s counterweight and is centrally guided through the spacers. Tests have shown that if a tangle occurs during fishing, whether caused by the reel or another factor, it easily passes through the rod without affecting casting or fishing action. However, it is recommended to remove any tangles to prevent potential wear or damage.
